Upgrade to the full Pro version (both as an app and Online Edition) whenever you want to access the full and comprehensive contents of A Manual of Acupuncture. You can do this either during the signup process, or at any time from within the app/Online Edition.
Key clinical information (Lite version only offers this for the Lung channel) includes:
All the major point groups (e.g. five shu, luo-connecting, hui-meeting etc.) are included for you to test yourself on, and you also have the option to create as many of your own point groups as you wish – either for clinical use (e.g. ‘my major points for dysmenorrhoea’) or for self-testing (e.g. ‘points I keep getting wrong in tests’).
Lite and Pro versions. Add your own notes to any field on the points pages, for example location, location notes, categories, indications, clinical application, combinations etc.
The sophisticated search function allows you to search the whole app (limited to the Lung channel in Lite version), or else choose by channel and/or any field within the points pages (e.g. actions, indications, clinical application etc.). Even more options are available in the Online Edition, for example searching for precise phrases using quote marks (e.g. “neck pain” will only return results containing that phrase, as opposed to all pages containing either ‘neck’ or ‘pain’).

This is an amazing program!!!! The point location tests are so great. Great work!! Wow!
The Best Acupuncture App. This app is a must for all beginner to intermediate level Acupuncturists... The most amazing thing which sets apart from Peter Deadman book is the VIDEOS. The videos are HD precisely crafted for all the points & the best part is that in each video the angle & depth of insertion are very clearly shown, which we won't find anywhere. Huge thanks to JCM & app developers.
Best Acupuncture App, Period I have to admit, switching from an iPhone 4s to a Galaxy Note 3, my only true lament (though I do also find the speech to text and voice command aspect to be clumsy by comparison) was that this app wasn't available. It is by far better than the rest of the acupuncture apps I have explored, which are many. I love the book that this app is based from, & I absolutely love this app! Very glad that it is now available for Android!
Best Acupuncture App! The design is beautiful and the information and videos are priceless.
Finally the app for all Acupuncturists I have waited so long for this app and it was so worth the wait. It is the only acupuncture app out there that is exactly what is needed for points. It has the video explaining, where the location is, and even how to needle the point, and you can add your own notes as well. It loads fast on my Galaxy Note 4 and I can even zoom in and out. I have deleted all my other "point" apps since this is all I need now. Great job.
Love it As a first year acupuncture student, the fact that I can carry this around with me all the time is invaluable. I love the videos.
Great app! I'm a student studying acupuncture and have found this app to be a very good learning tool. I really love the video instructions, needle depth, angle and contraindications, which are performed clearly and accurately and are very easy to access quickly for each point. Thanks for the great app!
Awesome! I use this just about everyday for acupuncture school and I wouldn't know what to do without it. I can find point quickly if I do not have my book nearby. The videos are great if I cannot understand the exact point location in the book. Highly recommend for school!
The best... THE app for the budding or practicing acupuncturist. No need to carry the book, it's all there. Excellent drawings, videos for point location, details on TCM and Western symptoms... Wouldn't practice without it!!
The Acupuncture Book This book is awesome. It has so much information in here. I bought a hardcopy at Acupuncture College and still like to use this app for patient education as well as brush up on advanced channel theory. So much easier to take my iPad to patients' homes than my entire book library. I enjoy the extra channels and great images. It's really easy to look up things like symptoms too.
